Visakhapatnam:Airport District Police in Visakhapatnam arrested Venu Bhaskara Reddy, a key member of a criminal gang led by Joy Jamina that was targeting rich married men in an extortion scheme. According to the police, Venu Bhaskara Reddy lived with Jamima and was directly involved in the attacks on the victims.

27-year-old Jamima deceived wealthy men with promises of love and marriage via social media. After gaining their trust, he invited them to secluded places; where his gang would drug them, take indecent photos, and extort large sums of money under the threat of publishing the images online.

The police had been tracking Reddy for some time as he evaded capture. He was detained as a result of a coordinated operation involving many police teams.
