The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man following a domestic dispute.

Deputies arrived at West Shore Apartments on Sunday to find a woman beaten. They say three young children living in poor conditions were also there.

The suspect, named Michael Carver of Bremen, was at the scene and allegedly had difficulty receiving orders from officers.

Reports say THC vape cartridges were found on him and he was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

He faces four charges including Domestic Assault, Strangulation, Neglect of a Dependent Person, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
