PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A woman is facing charges after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle and leading deputies on a brief chase in Escambia County, Florida.

According to the Sheriff’s Office Facebook postDeputies arrested 43-year-old Dawn Burd. Deputies say they found a stolen vehicle Friday night at T and Hernandez Streets. They said after a short chase, Burd was stopped using the PIT maneuver. This means that a law enforcement vehicle crashes into another vehicle, forcing it to stop.

Burd was booked into the Escambia County Jail around 9:30 Friday night. He is charged with vehicle theft and resisting an officer.
